DHR Pharmacy Residency Program
Doctors Hospital at Renaissance (DHR), in cooperation with Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, is offering a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) pharmacy residency designed to advance the practice of post graduate pharmacists. The PGY-1 pharmacy residency is a twelve-month program designed to train residents in a comprehensive clinical environment. Residents will develop their pharmacy knowledge and skills in direct patient care in acute and ambulatory care settings, teaching and research. At the completion of the program, the resident will be prepared to serve as a clinical pharmacist responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions. Residents will also be eligible for board certification in pharmacotherapy and for postgraduate year two (PGY-2) pharmacy residency training.
